William Hames
Practice Principal / Mortgage & Protection Adviser
William or Billy to most, has been in the industry for over 30 years specialising in mortgages and protection. Billy has been the practice principal of Premium since it’s inception in 2005 and oversaw the recent expansion of the business in 2021. No job too small, Billy always endeavours to get his clients what they want with a vast number of satisfied clients over the years.
Lewis Hames
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Lewis is the newest member of our family run business, after working with us for two and a half years as a paraplanner Lewis underwent his training to become a qualified mortgage & protection adviser in 2019. He now takes a lead on many of our first time buyer clients with a special interest in protection and adverse mortgages. Perhaps Lewis’ biggest strength is his ability to make people feel at ease throughout what can often be a complex process and is the reason why his clients have no hesitations in recommending him each and every time!
Colin Burley
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Colin’s strength is in the detail. With over 29 years of experience in the mortgage and protection industry he’s met the needs and demands of many of his clients. Whilst each mortgage and insurance application can seem complex to many, Colin takes the time to talk through the process of each of his services ensuring his clients have a clear understanding of what to expect and how they can achieve their mortgage and protection goals. Factor in a friendly demeanour and a personable approach, you can expect to receive only the best service possible from Colin!
Julie Hames
Paraplanner
Julie has been providing essential support and assistance since Premium began in 2005. As the mortgage and protection side of the business continues to grow, so does Julie’s importance to the firm in ensuring that each and every case is processed to the highest quality.
Ben Brewer
Financial Adviser
One of the biggest assets to the practice is Ben, in part due to the numerous years of working behind the scenes as a paraplanner and learning the ‘ins and outs’ of the industry, but also having the necessary qualifications to provide advice on defined benefit/final salary* pension schemes. However, don’t think that is all Ben can do. He’s also qualified to provide advice on all other forms of pensions, investments as well as life insurance.
Transferring out of a Final Salary scheme is unlikely to be in the best interests of most people.
Mark Walker
Paraplanner
Mark has been a paraplanner for a number of years now and specialises on the pensions and investments side of the firm. With aspirations to be an adviser himself in the near future, he still has a key role to play as a paraplanner so much so he has his own paraplanning company! But with close ties to Premium having been a part of the recent expansion of the firm, he provides invaluable support to the advisers on a daily basis.
